How to Declutter Your Home and Your Life With Krista Lockwood
Tuesday Aug 23, 2022
Tuesday Aug 23, 2022
Decluttering can be daunting for gifted people, but it is doable. You don't need to exhaust yourself. Make use of the free blocks of time in a day, and little by little, let go of things that no longer serve you in your current moment.
Join me in this episode of Someone Gets Me ▶️ How to Declutter Your Home and Your Life with Krista Lockwood.
Key point covered in this episode:
✔️ Before she became a decluttering supermom, Krista literally packed her whole life's belongings (and her young family with three kids) into suitcases when she had to make a major move from Alaska to Florida. She describes it as a "purge" that has been the most challenging and life-changing.
✔️ Everybody has different clutter thresholds of what they can manage and what inspires them. Krista has helped thousands of other moms transform chaotic homes into an abode of peace and calm with doable tips and mindset. One doesn't have to be a full-blown minimalist to get the house, life, and kids organized.
✔️ You don't need a better schedule, routine, or chore chart – you just really need LESS stuff. You can't organize your way in a home that is too full. Having so much stuff around gets us frustrated, angry, or intolerant in the day-to-day, but having enough to meet our needs and desires is what prevents overwhelm.
✔️ The whole point of decluttering is to feel better and more alive. Every item you possess requires paying attention to how it feels and always seeking to answer the question if it brings you joy moving forward.
✔️ Teach kids to declutter. Are you having a difficult time teaching the little ones how to stop hoarding so much stuff and managing clutter at home? Krista teaches setting physical boundaries around their things and toys and including children in the decluttering and accumulating process.
✔️ Krista shares these practical questions to guide you when organizing your things as you start your decluttering journey:
Do you still enjoy them?
Do you remember where you got them?
Do you remember why you had them?
How can you make room for the things that you still love and the things that you still want?
You don't have to become an expert in decluttering your life. Start slowly by letting go of things that overwhelm you and making space for flow and ease to come.
✔️ We learn how to freely give away, but we also learn how to freely receive. The act of decluttering embodies a spiritual principle I teach people to keep the flow going in their lives — it's the willingness to give up things we value to help others in need. Generosity and selflessness prepare the cheerful giver to be blessed more.
Krista Lockwood teaches decluttering for moms who don't want to be full-blown minimalists. She will teach you how to have enough stuff without it becoming overwhelming so that you have more bandwidth to do the things you truly need and want.

Daughters Raised By Narcissistic Fathers
Tuesday Aug 16, 2022
Tuesday Aug 16, 2022
Little girls raised by self-centered, angry fathers become women with big wounds that are not easy to heal. Narcissistic abuse impacts us in ways that many people want to pretend are not as real as it is.
This episode has a lot of emotion that I am disclosing to my audience. Like me, did you go through life carrying the trauma of a narcissist for a father?
Key point covered in this episode:
✔️ Daughters of narcissistic dads are deeply wounded. Reflecting on my journey to get where I am, I've had severe depression and unrelenting emotional trauma. The damage that happened to me is continually happening to girls developing wounds deep to the DNA.
✔️ Validate your own experience and emotions. I have many memories of sitting across the table from my dad, him being happy and talking — suddenly throwing venomous attacks at me —telling me how wrong or bad I was. It went on until I got to junior high school, when I totally shut down from everyone. As a daughter, my life has been affected forever.
Until I decided I no longer wanted to be held an emotional hostage. That I will stop focusing on being the victim. That I will choose the path of higher understanding. Only then have I sought freedom.
✔️ Pursue your healing. We won't stay as damaged little girls when we heal with our tears, work, and willingness to evolve through it all. Like a shining Phoenix rising out of the fire, we come out golden, radiant, and amazing humans who can consciously choose to take what was meant for harm for GOOD. We must be willing to do the work because nobody else can do it for us.
✔️ From victim to victor. Being a SURVIVOR means: "I'm a victim, and I choose a higher understanding that for every painful and great loss in my life, there's a benefit that can come out of it if I'm open to seeing it."
I invite you to be honest: If you've been wounded, stop wearing it on your chest as a badge of honor. Being a victim is not your identity. Become a survivor.
✔️ For the last 40+ years, I've been freeing myself from the trance and bondage of all the narcissism I was raised in. So many women in the world are still in an emotional prison built by the dysfunction of the adults raising them — they forget that what matters most is their decision to work on themselves. Endless couch and coaching sessions will not work if you don't actually take action to resolve them. I've done 50+ modalities (and more) to clear my energy and heal my mind from believing I am unworthy.

Awaken the Heart of the Gifted With Dianne A. Allen & Jared DuPree
Tuesday Aug 09, 2022
Tuesday Aug 09, 2022
There could be less pain and suffering for gifted people if they only knew how to make their hearts and minds work together.
Former clinician, professor, and founder of WholeHEART Awakening, Jared DuPree, teaches that all healing roots from the HEART and encompasses the physical, emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual aspects of ourselves.
Join me in this episode of Someone Gets Me ▶️ Awaken the Heart of the Gifted with Jared DuPree.
Key points covered in this episode:
✔️ It took 15 years of traditional practice as a counselor before Jared achieved a breakthrough that shifted his spirit. After gathering new learnings from ancient arts and various methods around the world, he unraveled a wealth of ways to heal holistically.
✔️ Gifted people tend to play small. They live life trying to accommodate
everyone around them. They don't want to ruffle feathers. They don't want to be branded as "too out there." If you share these beliefs with yourself — know that there will always be those who will get triggered just because of who you are. And that's okay. You can't play small or pretend to become who you are not. Share your gifts because that's the part you must play to make this world better.
✔️ There's a reason people say 'Go with your gut' or 'follow your heart' for thousands of years. We call it a hunch, instinctual reaction, or gut feeling — many terms describe the ability to navigate life without just relying on the "knowing" of the mind.
Science and spirituality experts refer to this as the ability to understand things and figure out solutions without depending only on intellect. When one achieves awakening, a big part is letting go of giving so much power to reasoning and strengthening trust in your gut.
✔️ Body awareness will become your best compass. The mind can lie, but the body doesn't. Learn how to sink into your body and pay attention to yourself. You can trust that what you're feeling are signs to help you take the right path. Many esoteric resources share how certain pressure in different parts, whether in the heart, knee, stomach, throat, or head actually holds significant meanings that direct you on the path of healing and happiness.
✔️ Stay in alignment and integrity from your heart space and allow the universe to maneuver around you. You can't put off your happiness until you get to the day when the perfect habits, skills, relationships, income, and ideal life arrives. Recognize you're good where you are NOW and trust your heart will take you to the right places at the right time.
Jared DuPree PhD, MBA
Jared began his work as a traditional counselor earning a PhD in Couples & Sex Therapy specializing in intimacy, connection, and trust. After 15 years of practice as a clinician and working as a professor, he felt a shift occurring that led to his own spiritual awakening. Since then, he has gathered tools and methods throughout the world to understand how to heal and awaken layer upon layer. He finds himself attracted to various arts and approaches including Reiki, Yoga, Shamanic healing, Chakra work, Energy work, Medium work, journeying, Tantra, sacred music, breath work, Human Design, Gene Keys, and integrative dance. He feels drawn to helping the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine energies weave at an individual and planetary level; he feels connected to the works of the Magdalenes, Isis, Druids and various tribal groups throughout the world. He currently resides in the mountains outside of Asheville, NC; he also spends time in the Sacred Valley, Peru; Costa Rica; Mexico; Scotland; Breitenbush, Oregon; and Ubud, Bali offering healing and awakening retreats.

How To Build Resilience With Dianne A. Allen
Tuesday Aug 02, 2022
Tuesday Aug 02, 2022
We define "resilience" as the ability to come back to life and bounce back after a hardship or long periods of difficulty. It is the capacity to regain footing after getting massive blows.
All of us have gone through these times. How we integrate and deal with those things is different for every person based on their giftedness, overexcitabilities, autobiography, sensitivities, and so many factors.
In this episode, we talk about building more resiliency, moving forward, and evolving in a way that best serves us.
Key point covered in this episode:
✔️ Create a life of interdependence. In a world where we are expected to do so much grinding and pushing, we are culturally adamant about receiving. Allow yourself to make that internal change and get in the position of being vulnerable, and accept help and support from others. Try it and see how you can get more of the good stuff coming into your life!
✔️ Cultivate radical self-care. Check in and assess: are you deeply caring about your physical body, mental health, emotional health, spiritual health, and social connections? We must become good stewards of ourselves. Now, that doesn't mean being selfish but consistently working on giving attention and importance to our being before we can go out and become for others.
✔️ Honor the essence of all beings. This means learning how to appreciate and have reverence for who we are and what we're about. That doesn't mean you never make any mistakes or are expected to be perfect. Even for the people we disagree with, we can still have respect for them despite their opposing beliefs and choices.
✔️ Create meaning in every situation. When we set out in the morning to create intentions for the day: we ask, "What meaning can I create?"
This approach to life ushers hope, gratitude, and joy into our daily experiences. It nurtures the connection of the "I" to others and the greater universe to be strong, beautiful, and real.
✔️ Give yourself permission to enjoy life. In truth, joy is our natural state of being. We expend so much energy going down the dark path of negativity. Pain and struggles are part of the great tapestry of the human experience. Yet even when things may not always be good, permit yourself to enjoy life fully in all its depth and richness.
✔️ Gratitude helps you build character. When we're grateful, we're freer to give and care for others. We can have gratitude in the face of adversity or when things don't feel good. Saying "Thank you" in your mind at every moment posies you to be more generous with your emotions, ideas, and energy. You can smile, hold the door for somebody, and tell them to have a good day.
✔️ Connect with multiple peer groups. We all are so multifaceted that it takes various people to feed our souls and emotions and help us be resilient in the world. I have peer groups for my spiritual, professional, social, and creative worlds. I have my vacation friends where I can be and relax. I am supported by many friends that meet my needs, so I'm not going to an empty well for water.
✔️ There is a growing requirement for all of us to actively and intentionally build our resilience muscles. As we develop our inner resources individually, we can be a collective beneficial presence that stands in our sovereignty as authentic, aligned beings full of integrity. We are here in this world to do just that. Let's start by building confidence in ourselves and trusting ourselves a little bit more.

The Mental Game For Gifted Creatives With Dianne A. Allen and Gabe Aluisy
Tuesday Jul 26, 2022
Tuesday Jul 26, 2022
I don't play golf, but there's a wonderful golf channel that I ardently follow on YouTube! 🏌️⛳ It's called Let's Play Thru, hosted by a friend, a gifted multipotentialite Gabe Aluisy.
The show is definitely well-viewed by 400,000 subscribers tuning in each month from across the globe. Gabe's authentic message and powerful energy attract a wide following and moves people to take action.
Join me in this episode of Someone Gets Me ▶️ The Mental Game For Gifted Creatives with Gabe Aluisy.
Key points covered in this episode:
✔️ Creativity is cyclical. It comes and goes, and we flow with it. Learn to tap into that constant energy, connect and allow it. Trust those elegant ideas will always show up and visualize that all things work out for the greater good.
✔️ Write it down FAST. Content creators like Gabe Aluisy swear by the power of keeping a notebook handy. 🗒️✨ We all get ideas all the time, but the problem is we forget about them! When a thought comes, just write it down and see them filling up the pages like a treasure box where your next viral post will come from.
✔️ It's fun to grow, change, evolve and bring cool ideas into the world!
Any time you're nervous about doing something, it's probably a good thing to try. Be willing to start and see where that leads. Trust your ability, the universe, and the process.
✔️ Put out that authentic energy, and the same thing comes back.
Gabe recommends letting the emotions come through. Editing or reshooting videos is a no-go when you prioritize the rawness and authenticity with the viewers. "That will turn some people off, and some people will feel more connected. The thing is, in any endeavor, you know, you're not going to please everybody. But if you put yourself out there, if you're raw, and show your emotion, you'll get that same thing back."
Gabe Aluisy is a 4-time author and podcaster and currently hosts the Lets Play Thru channel on YouTube, with over 400,000 viewers each month from across the globe.

Energetic Alchemy With Dianne A. Allen
Tuesday Jul 19, 2022
Tuesday Jul 19, 2022
✨ Our vibrational energy constantly evolves or devolves, rising in vibration or going lower, but it can never be killed. It just transmutes and changes. This truth should be the lens through which we view our experience in the world, requiring us to be conscious of how we manage our energy and how we send it off to others.
Join me in this episode of Someone Gets Me —Energetic Alchemy ▶️
Key point covered in this episode:
✔️ Your presence makes a difference. When you walk into a room – whether it's a party, a boardroom, or an online conference – you manipulate the room. "Manipulate" means that you handle or change things. So when you show up, you bring with you the energy, presence, and overall experience that shifts the darkness to the light for everyone.
✔️ We all are energy alchemists as we dance through the world. But doing it with intention is what matters. Becoming an energy alchemist on purpose is taking a base emotion like fear, grief, shame, or sadness and transmuting it into something more beautiful like hope, joy, love, and kindness. We have the focus and will to help others, to serve the world by uplifting the energy and bringing forth higher power.
✔️ 20% of our communication is the words. All the rest of it is the feeling, the vibe, and the energy. Recall the last conversation you had: were you able to tell the other person's vibe by their tone or the cadence of their speech? Surely you will know much more about what was going on with them than simply the words they said.
✔️ Whether you are being cranky, disinterested, or uplifting — you bring others into that kind of experience. It's important to realize that it is not wrong to show these emotions and send off these kinds of energy. The better question, however, is it serving others and serving you?

How to Fall in Love with Your Art Again With Paul Jeffrey Thomas
Tuesday Jul 12, 2022
Tuesday Jul 12, 2022
Paul Jeffrey Thomas has been composing songs from a very early age and feels uniquely integrated as a human person when that inspiration gifts him with music and the chance to perform what he has written.
Paul still feels the idealism of music having the ability to help improve the world's social structures and the lives of people everywhere. For Paul, music is life and as important as breathing.
Join me in this episode of Someone Gets Me —How to Fall in Love with Your Art Again with Paul Jeffrey Thomas ▶️
Key point covered in this episode:
✔️Paul put music and lyrics that speak to his soul, hoping that it speaks to many others, too. In his song, We'll Get Home, he shares how happiness awaits on the other side when you take the courage to pursue your healing and transformation. This message is one that many of us can make use of today.
✔️Music as a ministry. To borrow Leo Fender's words, he said, "Musicians are emissaries of God." Paul believes this is a sacred role in making music that touches and heals. Musicians, in a way, facilitate the gift of restoration for many who need it.
✔️Intuition and inspiration work together in the creation process. As a singer, songwriter, and composer, Paul describes that making music does not necessarily require developing it intellectually but manifesting from what's coming in from the soul and the heart.
✔️Spirituality is called a "practice" for a reason. Pursuing and deepening the relationship with the sacred requires consistency. Whether it's prayer, meditation, and breathing exercises — these all require repetition to achieve a truly spiritual life.
✔️Take the spiritual path through your creativity. Paul shares how in his journey, he opened up through self-acceptance and made more music that heals and imparts life wisdom as an artist.
Paul Jeffrey Thomas is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, lyricist, poet, and composer. He studied classical guitar and composition at Rhode Island College and jazz guitar at Berklee College of Music. Paul's experience includes bands he formed around his original songs, appearances on Nashville television, writing for cable, and independent film. He was nominated in Japan for best score for the independent film Not Me by filmmaker Mahmoud Salimi.

The Unassuming Superpower With Dianne A. Allen
Tuesday Jul 05, 2022
Tuesday Jul 05, 2022
Because we live in an extroverted world where there are shiny objects here and there, we get so hooked as a society on destination addiction. We get to be all about Where am I going? And How fast can I get there? This mindset releases the idea of enjoying the ride and appreciating our path.
And so what I notice is that the flashy, crazy stuff that people pursue gets way more attention than those created by grounded, centered, and real people. Now, I'm not implying that extroverted people are not authentic. But how many gifted, introverted, and deeply connected people often get overlooked? They're dismissed as "Oh, they're too spiritual" or "too woo woo." They are being judged by their cover.
Key point covered in this episode:
✔️The shiny object syndrome creates dissonance for many people and distracts them from who they really are. So if you're smiling all day for others and yet feel existential angst, unhappiness, and doubts inside yourself — recognize the lack of alignment and dysregulation. That has long-term negative consequences on your being spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically.
✔️When somebody is in that aligned inner state, they're more powerful than those who are so distracted out there that they cannot see what's going on. Judging the book by its cover works against you.
✔️The introverted, empathic, deep-thinking people are attentive to what you're saying and what you're not saying. Seek them out, and they will hear with the heart, soul, and interest. That's much more powerful than the external thing. They are humble, compassionate, and with great candor and integrity.
✔️What is the "unassuming superpower?" It is the skill of deep listening – leaning closely beyond the ears and connecting from a place of humility. The listener with a peaceful mind and open heart is receptive and responsive to the experience.
✔️ When I work with people and dial in on those deeper levels, I employ an unassuming superpower. People who work with me go, "Wow, what you said really works," or "I didn't realize that conversation was so powerful," because it's possible to be friendly and transformative without being flashy.
✔️When you allow your truths to serve you as your inner compass and learn to thrive in your authenticity, you develop grounding and become stronger than you realize. Yes, humility is a superpower.
✔️ Look within you; do you see what's trying to emerge? There's a lot of power in you as the quiet introvert. The silent visionary. The Gifted. The empath.
✔️Connect with a mentor who can support you from the inside out, get into that calm place of acceptance, beauty, and grace, and witness your transformation emerge.

Jennifer Marshall's life story is like one that we see in movies. From a childhood filled with visiting food banks and relying on charity, she served in the military until she found herself walking the red carpets of Hollywood.
Jennifer reveals that the difficulties and pain of growing up in poverty led her to pursue acting to fulfill a need and a purpose. "The trauma I had accrued as a child, and a young adult was not a downfall for me. It was something that I could choose to lament and say; this was terrible. Of course, these things happened. But I saw it as an opportunity to tap into emotions, create beautiful art, and heal myself from the inside out."
Come along on our conversation to learn how to turn your life struggles into learning points to grow and thrive.
Join me in this episode of Someone Gets Me —Inner Inspiration that Drives You with Jennifer Marshall ▶️
Key point covered in this episode:
✔️The power of persistence. Jennifer entered showbiz knowing she was not the youngest, prettiest, most talented, or wealthiest well-connected actress. As a Navy Veteran, she brought a terrific worth ethic and discipline, outworking many others.
✔️The longer you lament about how hard it will be, the more you will be behind the other people in the buffet of life. Jennifer's journey navigating trauma and abuse taught her to turn her pain into power. She emphasizes the power of self-belief, integrity, and hard work in her transformation from victim to survivor.
✔️The ultimate gift of all the discord and pain we go through is when it can finally be transmuted into something beautiful. It takes time and active effort for every person to come to peace with the past and appreciate the gifts that life's big tragedies have provided. A transformation is powerful after overcoming great adversity and crafting a beautiful path for yourself.
✔️If it's your calling, it will hunt you down and never leave you alone.
There's a difference between what you can do and what you're called to do. Your soul purpose will keep following you around until you acknowledge it and will keep knocking on the door until you open yourself to embrace it.
What dreams keep tugging at you that you are running away from?

Summer Is For Growing With Dianne A. Allen

Summer is such an important season —it's the time for growing the seeds we planted in the spring. For a farmer or a home gardener taking care of the crops, nurturing is necessary until it's time to reap the harvest in the fall.
This idea of the seasons also relates to how we tend the garden inside us. Our thoughts, our actions, and how they align have everything to do with the success of our growing season so that our fall is a time where we are reaping the rewards of what we intentionally planted.
Ask yourself: which seeds am I watering and paying attention to? Which ones need to be fertilized? What needs to have enough shade or direct sunlight? Are there weeds present, choking the potential of the things I desire? What am I growing intentionally and unintentionally?
It's time to G R O W! Watch this episode in full.
Key point covered in this episode:
✔️GRACE. Allow yourself to find your flow and go through the delight of the experience. Like the elegant simplicity of nature, it must be enjoyed in its magnificence. Remember, some seeds take longer to germinate than others, so it's about allowing ourselves to be in the flow with whatever we've planted. Waiting can be an exciting thing.
✔️REVERENCE. Have a deep respect for all humans, yourself, and everyone else. If you secretly don't respect yourself and have a lot of self-doubts, that inner chatter inside your head might come out sideways in any other season.
✔️OVERLOOK those things that don't serve you anymore. Please do not get all caught up in the weeds, so to speak, and understand that maybe when you weren't so discerning and might have planted weed seeds you didn't realize were there -- exclude those things that don't work for you anymore.
✔️Be WILLING and ready to take the necessary actions. Prune back what is overgrowing, and pull out those weeds. Go deep into your connection with what you're growing physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
I hope that these steps have inspired you to take a step back and look at what you're producing and what you intend to harvest in the fall. And if not, what new seeds can you plant right now? It's not too late to sow seeds of self-love, radical self-compassion, kindness, and generosity. It's not too late. Allow the elegance and the reverence of the world we live in and of your inner being to come together and create something even more beautiful and magical than you can see at this moment.
