Part One of ‘Let Go of the Story with Conner Kees’
Conner Kees wasn’t much of an athlete growing up, so he decided to explore and experience herbalism. Along the way, through his connections in the health food industry, he became a certified Western herbalist, a member of the American Herbalist Guild. It's an educational organization founded in 1989 as a non-profit to represent the goals and voices of herbalists specializing in the medicinal use of plants.
“Seek wise counsel from people who are ahead of you.” – Connor Kees (25:57-26:01)
Their primary goal of the American Herbalist Guild is to promote a high level of professionalism and education in the study and practice of therapeutic herbalism. Having realized that the information we find on google isn’t sufficient, he got motivated to become a health care practitioner, to become an acupuncturist.
Part Two of ‘Let Go of the Story with Conner Kees’
Acupuncture, massage therapist, chiropractor, medical doctor, anybody, therapist, or anybody, if you don't resonate with them, keep on moving. It's highly advisable to find a therapist who does psychosomatic integration. It's an overall evidence-based treatment approach for working with complex trauma and dissociation, that addresses the root causes of trauma-based presentations and fragmentation, and so results in long term recovery.
“Pay attention to who resonates with you.” – Dianne A. Allen (28:43-28:44)
Have the courage to follow the intuition to let go of some of the previous parts of your story. It's so important to help people wake up and move through what's happening in a way that makes sense. Be willing to be free, so you can pursue something higher.

From Stagnation To Progress

From Stagnation To Progress with Dianne A. Allen
Every single one of us has an inner genius. People often think that the word genius is only meant for brilliant people, but it expands beyond that. Your inner genius is your soul and what your heart wants to bring forward. Every single one of us has a valuable message that we're meant to bring to the world like a gift. The cool thing is all of us have different gifts. All of us have something different to do. So, what is your inner genius? Do you know?
In this week's episode, you'll learn about:
- The five phases to leap from stagnation to progress
Part One of ‘From Stagnation to Progress’
You might be a little stuck, or maybe you're feeling stagnant during this quarantine period. We can get stuck in fear, uncertainty, stress, and negativity. This is a time to reflect on how you can begin to make progress toward your goals and toward your heart's desire. How can you be a beneficial presence in the universe? How can you keep moving forward in a way that works? Whatever that looks like. And for each one of us, that's going to look a little different. Your inner genius knows what you're here on earth for. Sometimes it has to do with what you do for a living or a creative pursuit that you enjoy.
Be clear on what your inner genius is and how you express that. If you look at your whole life, there was a fuel deeper than what it looked like on the outside. And because things change, the way we express our genius changes over our lifetime.
Sometimes we have to steer a little bit away from where we want to go. Sometimes we have to change the way we use our strategy so that we can get where we want to go efficiently. Things change. Things move around. Life goes in cycles, seasons, spirals, and all kinds of things happen. So, therefore, when we're going through these phases or steps, or whatever we want to call them, understand that there is a cycle to things. Sometimes it might appear like you're heading away from where you want to go to get enough momentum.
“Allow yourself to expand beyond the limited box of your thinking.” – Dianne A. Allen (16:10-16:15)
Number one is to check out your moments of sudden insight or discovery.
When did the light bulb go off that you even want to make progress in a direction? Or how did you figure out that you're stuck or stagnant? Because if you think you're stuck or stagnant, you probably are on some level. Figure out what's the message behind it? Because exploring things and educating ourselves about what is happening in these moments helps us start to see where the momentum can be to help us make our progress.
Number two, focus on where you're headed.
You know how athletes are when they're in the zone. Especially if you watch runners or tennis players who are super focused. They're in the zone, and nothing will stop them from heading to where they're going. If you don't have focus, it's hard to get where you're going. If you're struggling with focus, you might want to pay attention to the goal, because if you keep working toward a goal and you're not getting there, then it's time for you to refine the goal a little bit.
Part Two of ‘From Stagnation to Progress’
Number three is to incubate or allow yourself to overflow with ideas.
Just like how food flavors have to marry, that's where marinating and coming together. It takes putting all the ingredients together and letting them find their way on an inside level. Focus on the new ideas and the inspirations you get from other people.
“The more fulfilled you are, the more progress you make.” – Dianne A. Allen (21:28-21:31)
Number four is to allow your insight and your awareness to expand.
This is a big win because a lot of visionary leaders and smart people tend to overthink. Overthinking puts us in little tiny boxes while restricting our opportunity. We're restricting our excitement. We're restricting the possibilities. The truth is, if we're going to move into making progress and we're going to get unstuck, we want to do precisely the opposite. We want to be expanding. We want to allow our insight, our intuition, and our awareness to open the door of possibilities. The more open we are to other possibilities, the better things are.
Number five is to follow through and let the universe give you feedback.
In other words, take your action and follow through with what it is that you're led to do. It might be your inspired idea or creative project, whatever that is. We live in an amazing universe that gives us unbelievably great feedback all the time. We're always getting feedback on how we're doing, how we're feeling, what's going on, and the progress toward where we're going like mile markers all the time.
Sometimes the powerful question is, what are you willing to stop doing that's been getting in your way? If you're not ready to drop the old behaviors, it's going to be very difficult to move forward. If you want to be unstuck and want to start making progress, you have to be willing to connect to your inner genius. You're an amazing human being, and hopefully, this inspired you to make progress.

Thriving into the New World with Jason Stein

Thriving into the New World with Jason Stein
“Don't miss the boat. Your best days are ahead.” — Dianne A. Allen (40:40-40:43)
COVID-19 has completely turned this world upside down, leaving everyone confused. Are you overdosing on the news recently, and you're not sure what to do? You can start finding some positive places to be the counterbalance despite all the death tolls so you can guard your gateway — your mind, your body, and your soul.
In this week’s episode, you’ll learn about:
- Thriving into the New World (with Jason Stein)
Back in 2004, Jason Stein became a professional coach for successful entrepreneurs & small business owners looking for support and accountability in achieving healthy profits, healthy relationships, and a healthy impact.
Part One of ‘Thriving into the New World with Jason Stein’
The disadvantage of overusing Facebook is that sometimes if you're constantly trying to get more information, your body is going to feel heavy. Ultimately, they've proven that it lowers the immune system; it increases depression and anxiety. It's time to take back your attention because the internet wants to pull it away and use it against you.
“Let's live sustainably and help the world be a healthier place.” – Jason Stein (45:54-45:57)
If you've always wanted a daily grounding practice or if you already have one, it's time to take it deeper. That could be yoga, sun salutations, mindfulness meditation, or prayer. You can start with five to ten minutes a day. But do it every day, and you will slowly, even within twenty-one to thirty days, you're going to notice a shift in your body. You have to get your body moving during the quarantine since there are billions of home workouts online right now. You can create your own. And if you stop moving your body, things like fear and pain stagnates.
There's a massive increase in stress eating going on right now. If you can take back your immunity and not wait for someone else to boost it up, your odds are going to be so much better. Meditation and grounding practices and mindfulness raise our immune system because it lowers the fear, which is more established and well known.
Part Two of ‘Thriving into the New World with Jason Stein’
It's highly advisable to grow a little garden and have some greens in there. Some of the foods that are going to be best for you are those green leafy vegetables. You want to avoid processed foods, which isn't rocket science. We hear it all the time.
The crazy thing is that the diet industry is a billion moving to a trillion-dollar business. But if you look at the stats, the evidence isn't there that it's helpful at all. Let's take this time to go back to the basics like drink water or breathe deeper breaths. Things can change so much with water and breath. So, if you keep replacing stuff with what's better, the body is going to feel more nourished.
Let's focus on behavior modification rather than what we should be doing. You should be eating healthier. You should be improving your body a little bit more. You should be sleeping more at night and unplug your phone or your computer.
“You can make a difference.” – Dianne A. Allen (47:36-47:37)
Make a list of all the things you've been thinking about and reclaim it for yourself. We thrive by dialing into who we are on the inside and letting it show up on the outside. We have to get into communities that support that part of us. We're into a mental game right now, so we have to break that imprisonment, and we have to toughen up a little bit.
If you're someone who thinks that there's no solution to all the things happening right now, like it's all doom and gloom, you're missing the boat. You must realize that this could be the turning point for you to have your best life ever. Maybe you have less money than you have, but we all experience hardships, but it doesn't have to take us out. It should teach us how to be more durable and serve as an invitation to step up. Remember, keep your face to the sun, so the shadows fall behind you because you're a rock star, and you're here on earth for a great purpose.

How the Seasons of Life Can Benefit You with Dianne A. Allen
Tuesday Apr 21, 2020
Tuesday Apr 21, 2020
Life is about honoring the process, knowing how you're going to be a profitable visionary and how you're going to feel successful from the inside out as a visionary.
You can't plant apple seeds and expect to get oranges. It's not how it works. And that's what people are doing when they're not lined up when their head says one thing, and their heart says something else.
How can you use the cycles of life for your benefit? In this week's episode, we're going to talk about the seasons of life.
Part One of ‘Seasons of Life’
I want to look at the cycle of seasons as the hallmark or the foundation for this conversation — winter, spring, summer, and fall. I live in Florida, where there's not much winter and fall. The winter season is a profound season. It's a season of going within, resting, and getting ready for the year to come, which makes it very special. It's meant to be celebrated as a way to go deeper within our soul and our emotions of who we are as human beings so that when we come forth in the spring, there is something even more amazing about what we bring to the world. And every winter we go through that time.
I used to dislike winters a lot because it wasn't very daylight and I didn't like the cold when I was younger. And I always had a hard time until I realized the powerful significance and meaning of winter. Now I am fully embracing the winter season. I will hibernate a little more. I'll meditate a little bit more, journaling and doing all those things to open up who I am spiritually and emotionally and fuel my system so that as spring gets here, I can spring forth.
“Your personal development is meant to move you forward.” – Dianne A. Allen (13:30-13:34)
So, winter is the beginning of the cycle. And then we come slowly into the springtime. Now, the springtime is when we plant the seeds for what we want to grow in the summer. If you're going to plant seeds of apple seeds, don't look for oranges. You're going to get apples. The same thing is true with our thinking. If I plant seeds in the spring of fear, pain, greed, and shame, then that is when I'm going to be reaping later on in the fall. If I plant seeds of kindness, compassion, love, and generosity, that's what I'm going to be collecting in the fall.
I ask you when you come to the spring of any part of your life, whether it's the actual spring season or maybe it's the cycle of something that you're working on or doing, what seeds are you planting? Your seeds come from what you're thinking about. So, if I'm walking around and I'm not paying any attention, then what's going to happen is it's going to be random stuff. I'm going to have weeds, I'm going to have all different kinds of plants. And it may not be at all what I want to harvest.
So, I want to be disciplined about what I'm thinking about, and I want to focus on it. As I plant the seeds, I know what I'm doing. Spring is a powerful time because as the seeds are planted by the end of spring and coming into summer, they're germinating. They're coming forth. That's why everyone loves the flowers, everything that comes to life. And that's how you see the hibernating animals come out, and all the changes happen.
I live by a lake, then here's the ducks, the little bunnies and the birds. And there's a cardinal family out there with the little babies and the eagles, all of them. It's the spring. We're bringing forth new life. So, it applies not only during the regular seasons of the year but the seasons of a project we're doing. So, I might have a great idea for a new thing. And that's the spring. And then the summer is when I'm growing it. That's when it rains more. And that's when the sun nourishes the soil and the plant. And it grows and grows.
Corn grows right in the summer. Most of our crops grow in the summer because that's when the growing season is, as the days are longer, and it is a very good environment for growth. Whatever seeds we plant in life as a visionary leader, we can either choose to pull the weeds out when they're little or let them grow along. All kinds of things can happen.
Fall or autumn comes next. That's when we get the harvest. I love the idea of reaping what we've sown over the years. What are we reaping? What are we bringing in? The cornucopia of amazement of what I've planted in the spring grew in the summer, and now I'm harvesting it in the fall. And that's a compelling image when we think about what it is we're planting, what we're growing, what we're nurturing, and feeding because that's what we're going to harvest. So, what are you harvesting? What is it that you want to have, and what is it that you're getting right.
Part Two of ‘Seasons of Life’
The winter season is so important because that's where we replenish our resources. That's where we allow ourselves to have stillness and quiet so that as humans, we can decide what to plant in the next spring. That's where we get to heal and bring back together any part of us that was fragmented or maybe even tired from the busy growing season. Then pretty soon, we're invited to plant new seeds so that new things can grow, and we can nourish through the summer in the fall. Thus, is the cycle of seasons. And so, these cycles and the seasons of our life are meant to live in this circular rhythm.
However, we in the Western world have a belief or a way we've been taught. I guess that says everything's linear. If I've been doing this behavior for 30 days, I should have this result. It's all linear, and that's not true. Our life is not meant to be linear or life is circular. There are cycles to it. We're meant to have a rhythm that moves us forward in a circle like the cycle of the moon. We go from the full moon. It wanes down to half-moon, crescent moon, the new moon. It waxes up and goes to half-moon. And then, back to the full moon again. And it keeps doing that same thing. We are meant as human beings and as mammals on earth to live within the cycles of seasons.
“Your happiness is not predicated on what's outside of you.” – Dianne A. Allen
This is really important, especially if you have any grieving or sadness going on because a lot of people think that if you lost somebody, you should be strong and get over it quickly. Well, that's not true. That's not how it works. We're taught erroneously to be strong and stoic. That's old news. Grieving takes a full cycle of seasons. And if I allow myself to live in the cycle and make friends with the flow of the universe, then I'm not pushing or trying to get life to do something it's not meant to do. I'm not creating any more harm or pain for myself.
To be connected to all of who you are, that's what matters more than anything in the world. Learn how to use what you've learned as a human being to move you into a greater place of harmony, peace, and goodness. That means both your personal and professional development, it's meant to move us forward. It's extremely valuable to see things in a cycle of seasons.

Create a Legacy that Lives on After You With Melissa Mull
Tuesday Apr 14, 2020

Create a Legacy that Lives on After You with Melissa Mull
“Awaken and live from your inner beauty, fire, and truth.”
— Dianne A. Allen
In this week’s episode, Dianne A. Allen welcomes Melissa Mull as her special guest to talk about creating a legacy that lives on after you.
Part One of ‘Create a Legacy that Lives on After You’
Melissa Mull is an international speaker, author, educator, business owner, and Air Force Reservist. She is the founder and CEO of Veteran Companions, a home care agency that provides companion care and many other services for Veterans, Wounded Warriors, and their families. She also facilitates a program she developed entitled "Beyond the Box" for separating and/or retiring military members and first responders transitioning from their service in uniform to civilian life.
Melissa has twenty-five years of experience as a Military Intelligence Chief, Professional Military Education Instructor, Master Resilience Trainer, Certified Curriculum Developer, Middle and High School Teacher, and certified trainer for Jack Canfield. Her career has focused on education and development, mentoring and teaching about leadership, followership, team building, resilience, and the importance of personal growth.
“Veterans are fantastic entrepreneurs.” – Melissa Mull
Melissa Mull is a military legacy who's dedicated to serving others. She was originally born in Washington, D.C., but grew up on the Maryland side, right outside of Andrews Air Force Base with her single mom and brother. They spent a lot of time at her grandparent's house. Her grandfather is a retired Army and spent almost twenty-five years in the navy. Melissa spent two years in the army, and despite the challenges, she felt like it was indeed her calling. She will retire at the end of this year with twenty years of service.
Part Two of ‘Create a Legacy that Lives on After You’
During her younger years, she dared to learn as much as she can, because the more knowledge that you have, the more you can navigate through different situations that you get into. You'll never know who you're going to run into and can help you see the other side of the coin. Sometimes we think that life is all about following everything other people say. You can use better discernment and better decisions on your own too. It's part of being successful and learning how to navigate an insensitive world. You have to learn how to navigate differently than the average ones out there.
“Make it happen and allow the change.” – Melissa Mull
Being a visionary leader means navigating all of our gifts, uniqueness, and have them come together in something that has meaning. It's so vital that we step up and create a legacy that is far larger than us that ripples out longer down generations that authentically serve people in an aligned way. It's magical to watch a legacy unfold from somebody who's so aligned with the pure heart.

Something Bigger with Nina Hermann
Tuesday Apr 07, 2020
Tuesday Apr 07, 2020
Ever thought of creating something more substantial than yourself? Especially with the turbulence of society right now? In this week's episode, this is what Dianne A. Allen is going to discuss with her special guest, Nina Hermann.
Nina Hermann has a podcast show, "Vibrant Living". She is a licensed realtor from Bradenton, Florida. The Vibrant Living Group has combined 17 plus years of military experience, 36 years in customer service, and 14 years in the home building industry.
Part One of ‘Something Bigger with Nina Hermann’
Have you ever experienced indecision? You kept working on something until it didn’t bring out the best version of you. You may want to pursue a job in a particular industry. Also, there are multiple other things to pair with what you're doing, such as helping other people.
Nina Hermann has combined her passion for real estate with assisting others to be in alignment with their health and well-being. As a result, she launched her YouTube and podcast channels to bring people together in vibrant and home-inspired living.
“We all want to be heard as visionary leaders.” – Dianne A. Allen (19:26-19:30)
Some people think that only visionary leaders are gifted. But that's not true. You can always be both. You may have experienced some failures in life. But if you connect all the dots and pull them all together, something inspiring and magical can come out of it.
While your success story is slowly unfolding, you will encounter a lot of negative stuff. Feelings of isolation, worthlessness, or hopelessness. You can't stay inside of your shell forever. You have a fantastic message to share out there. You are here on this earth for a reason. Everything that's happening in your life has a purpose.
Part Two of ‘Something Bigger with Nina Hermann’
Maintain a daily routine. Make sure that you're getting up, and you have a pattern to follow. Meditation, movement, and creation — do something in the morning to get you started in those three areas. Especially right now, if you're quarantined at home. Open the windows if you can't be outside. get some fresh air.
“The world is changing so rapidly in so many ways that love and connection are the driving force that's so vital.” – Dianne A. Allen (33:32-33:37)
During this pandemic, people who are in assisted living are not allowed to have visitors. It's impacting the people in them. But also the family members that aren't able to see them. Reach out and make sure you're having online conversations with those you love. This is the moment where we all need compassion and kindness towards others. So that they know they're not alone during this process. The world is changing so rapidly in so many ways. Love and connection is the driving force that's so vital. Always remember that you're a rock star, and you exist for a great purpose.

The Addiction Much Bigger Than Opioids

The Addiction Much Bigger Than Opioids with Dianne A. Allen
“I have been an addiction specialist for 40 years and I am tired of hearing that opioids are the big epidemic.” — Dianne A. Allen (00:09-00:18)
Are you tired of opioids being labeled as an epidemic? Yes, they are an epidemic. They have been an epidemic for a very long time because heroin is in the opioid family.
But there are many more addictions that are bigger than that. We see it everywhere around us and it is likely not what you think. In this week's episode, Dianne A. Allen talks about the addiction that is much bigger than opioids.
Part One of ‘The Addiction Much Bigger Than Opioids’
Fear is an addiction much bigger than opioids ever will be. Fear is a chemistry in the body that we can easily be addicted to. We can be addicted to things that are not just physical.
You can be addicted to fear and not feel afraid because fear is the fuel for anger and irritation. It's like turning up the gas on the stove. Whenever we have fear underneath, there are only two motivators: fear and love.
“Every single person that I have treated in 40 years, there has been a ninety percent success rate.” – Dianne A. Allen (02:38-02:44)
If there's fear underneath, and you have anything going on, you will immediately become angry. Every time you see somebody who's angry all the time, it's because they have fear beneath, even if they're not feeling fear. When you hear the word addiction, realize that it does not only refer to things like alcohol, drugs, marijuana, and opioids.
Part Two of ‘The Addiction Much Bigger Than Opioids’
Some people are struggling to address their fear issues. It’s an inner addiction that we rarely pay attention to. It’s happening a lot in our world today. It pushes people to harm others and put more toxic energy into this universe than ever before.
“You don't have to live in fear. Go out there and employ some faith in your world.” – Dianne A. Allen (15:31-15:36)
You must have a sense of awareness and identify how fear is affecting your life. How is it affecting your relationships, creativity, work, and everything? Faith is the only antidote to fear because it is much bigger than most things.
People usually associate it with high spirituality and religion, but it's about your core faith. The faith that when you sit in a chair, it's not going to fall apart, and it's going to hold you.
You don't have to live in fear. Go out there and employ some faith in your world. No matter what you do, use your faith to bring yourself more joy. It's ridiculous to live in panic, fear, and terror. That's not what we're meant for at all.

Using Quilting as a Visionary Leader to Stay Grounded with Dianne A. Allen
“There are many creative endeavors that you can apply to your creative life.” — Dianne A. Allen (00:56-00:59)
Have you ever wondered a visionary leader would find solace in quilting? Maybe you think quilting is something from the olden days. Did you know that there are tons of advantages in this creative endeavor that you can apply to your creative life? In this week's episode, Dianne A. Allen talks about using quilting as a visionary leader to stay grounded.
Part One of ‘Using Quilting as a Visionary Leader to Help Ground’
First of all, the beginner's mind is essential. To not have a nervous breakdown. If you're a perfectionist, it can make you go crazy. Which makes it a bad idea. Even if you're an expert with a lot of things, you must be teachable, willing to learn, and makes mistakes.
“It takes being teachable for a beginner to succeed.” – Dianne A. Allen (04:31-04:38)
Believe it or not, quilting could be better than a therapist. You'll slowly notice that you're less stressful and sleeping a lot better than you normally do. Since it takes a lot of creativity to make a good one, it will help develop your patience too.
It can be a fantastic form of meditation. You can get yourself busy creating something, feeling the soft cotton, and not having to worry about whatever is going on in the world.
Part Two of ‘Using Quilting as a Visionary Leader to Help Ground’
Quilting has a way to help you stay grounded, be calm, and meditate. Just like other hobbies out there, when you get to attend classes and do it with other people, you'll learn how to value the community. After it's done, you feel that sense of fulfillment for being able to accomplish something.
“Quilting is an amazing way to meditate.” – Dianne A. Allen (07:51-07:55)
There's way more to quilting than you can imagine. It keeps your mind sharp, alert, and you'll learn a lot of things. You develop the kind of mindset that it takes to practice to create something perfect. As a visionary leader, reflect on your life and think about what creative things you enjoy most.

Monday Mar 16, 2020
Are you trying to be popular with something that maybe doesn't completely align with you because it's comfortable and familiar? And it's time to get a little bit more honest about where you're headed and be willing to let go of the old to embrace something new. In this week's episode, Dianne A. Allen welcomes Jorgie Franks-Bell as her special guest as they talk about purpose-driven business.
Part One of ‘Purpose-Driven Business Jorgie Franks-Bell’

Jorgie worked with companies like Samsung (Territory Management), Coca-Cola, Microsoft, BARBIZON Modeling (National Touring Speaker/Spokes Model), Jared, The Galleria of Jewelry, Victoria Secret and for almost two years served at Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce as Director of Membership. “Our purpose and vision allow our inner calling to get us on the right road.” – Dianne A. Allen (15:51-16:00) *PART ONE
Many successful entrepreneurs earn money, but they don’t have authentic joy and happiness because they’re not living according to what they’re called to do. Have you ever wondered why it’s crucial to have a purpose-driven business? Having purpose and knowing what is underneath everything pays off in significant ways.
We live in a culture where our ego tends to drive the bus, fear is the navigator, and we are all passengers. If you come to think of it, life is about our purpose and vision, allowing our inner calling to get us on the right road. Your gift makes room for you because as you live and you walk, as you take a step to the path of your vision, the entire world begins to conform to that vision. The universe makes room for your gifts, and it all comes to support you. You're going to be a different person ninety days a year, two years, three years. Therefore, the business is going to be different. It's always changing and evolving.
Part Two of ‘Purpose-Driven Business Jorgie Franks-Bell’
When you are stuck between projects that you're both passionate about, you have to decide which one is more urgent. Gifted people usually do three passion projects in their lifetime, if not more. Clarity is essential for you to know your priorities because it’s the foundation for your purpose while your values help you make strong decisions that are grounded.
“We can't make strong decisions if we're not connected to our purpose.” – Dianne A. Allen (03:21-03:28) *PART TWO
Some people want to be popular like with the old lifestyle. As we grow and change, the universe is always expanding in terms of unity, diversity, and complexity. So, things are always moving. You're not the same from day to day. It always takes that clarity and the ability to pivot and move. To have a purpose-driven business, you have to be flexible.
If you're not connected to your purpose and the higher understanding of doing things, then it's more challenging to decide. Stop procrastinating and go out there and live your purpose. Live according to what you’re called to do.
